We bring demo saddles to your stable for a non-committal trial, and you try them out on your own horse. If you are satisfied with the saddle, we gather all the necessary data from you and your horse. You can arrange an appointment via our contact page.

To keep the trial pressure-free for you, we charge an expense allowance of up to 120 EUR, shared proportionally among the customers on one tour. This amount will be credited if you make a purchase.

With the data from you and your horse, your personalized Childéric saddle is crafted in France. Around 8 weeks after placing your order, you can start riding in your own Childéric saddle.

As your saddle is made to measure for you and your horse, there is no online ordering. In the saddle configurator you can choose the colours of your jumping or dressage saddle and send it as a request – we will then get in touch to arrange a saddle fitting.

No. Due to Luc Childéric's price fixing, a saddle that you have specially made does not cost more than an off-the-shelf Childéric saddle.

You decide whether your saddle should be made from the finest buffalo or calfskin leather and choose from a wide range of colours. You can put together your colour combination in advance in the saddle configurator; we will gladly show you original leather samples at the fitting.

Yes. If your horse's shape has changed, we come to your stable to gather the new data so that the saddle can be modified by Childéric in France. Typically, this alteration takes 2–3 weeks, including shipping; the costs are calculated based on the extent of the modifications (Our service).

Yes, we offer top-maintained used Childéric saddles at a good price and will gladly prepare a personalized offer for you. A used Childéric can also be optimally adjusted to your horse. See the available used saddles.

We are the Childéric main agency in Germany, Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic. You will find your contact persons for Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Frankfurt, further postcode areas in Germany, Austria, Hungary as well as the Czech Republic and Slovakia on our contact page.

There are Childéric dressage saddles, jumping saddles and cross saddles. The special saddles include Icelandic horse and endurance saddles, jumping and dressage saddles for ponies and individually customized saddles for people with disabilities.
